IGNITE-YOUTH's Connection-Point

First CONNECTION-POINT (cell group) of IGNITE-YOUTH

Before the service: Jarold and Darren.

IGNITE-YOUTH has started its first Connection-Point on last Thursday (27th June 2008). It was held in Abel’s house. Connection-Point is a place to help people to grow in Christ, to build each other up, to learn from each other experience, to share things that God has done greatly in people’s lives, and to become a Connection-Point between Christians and Non-Christians besides social gathering that focus on fellowship and refreshments.

Praise and Worship.

Abel sharing the word of God.

On that night, about 16 of us and Pastor Wai Fong and Uncle Johnny turned up. We started at 8.00pm sharp. We first started with Praise and Worship session. Even though our number is small, but when two or three gather to seek the Lord, the Presence of the Lord is with us. After that, Abel shares on the topic of “Relationship with God”. God loves us and HE wants to have a personal relationship with each and everyone of us. It’s sin that separates us from God. That is why we must keep checking up ourselves whether things that we’re doing whether it is righteous and holy in HIS eyes. During the sharing, we had some fun ice-breaker too. When it’s time for testimony, Uncle Johnny shared how God has moved in his life and Melvin and Stephanie shared that God is moving in their own respective school that they are starting up a small prayer group which we believe it’s soon going to be officially known as Christian Fellowship.

Nicholas, Michelle and Pastor Wai Fong are listening to Abel's sharing.

After prayer, we had some great time fellowshipping with one another. Aunty Victoria’s cooking was seriously nice. We had spaghetti, hokkien-mee, ice-kacang and all. In overall, we had a great time seeking God and fellowshipping with one another.
Fellowship.

For those who missed it, it’s okay. Connection-Point will be held on every alternate Thursday of each month at different houses. We hope to see you in the next meeting. Do bring your friends along with you to enjoy with us.

Report Ends.
